One day earth will no longer be inhabited by human beings(or any life for that matter). How do you think this will come about and when?
Death by the sun?
Resource exhaustion?
War?
Asteroid?
Discover new homes?
1 billion years?
I think by the time earth is no longer suitable for life, we will have spread throughout the milky way galaxy. Places to live(planets, moons, space bases) will be so abundant that it won’t matter. You’ve got to think that we’ll occupy other solar systems within another couple 1000 years.
