Okay well I just finished this site for a friend who is a tv and film editor:
This is the second version of the site, the first of which had a full tv-like remote and worked quite similar to the cable guide (with channels listed down the left in the guide and way more options), but the feedback she got was that a lot of people went to the site and didn’t know how to work it. So, as much as it sucked to lose all that functionality, we scrapped the ‘channel’ functionality and tried to make it easier to use.
The menu at the top and bottom is normal html, which uses js to trigger the various actions within the flash.
Love any feedback, but I’m particularly concerned about the usability issue. The main purpose of this site is for her to send to a producer who is insanely busy and will probably only give it a few seconds look before moving on.
