Calaway, I made those cars with Illustrator and I would love to make tutorials for it, but unfortunately I don’t have time right now. ;( Gotta work to pay bills…;( :-\

2 small things… you should disable your button after a click… because if you keep clicking the button. it’ll replay the transition over and over…

also. you should make those links a real link… so it’ll redirect the viewer to whichever site

… just a thought…

Thanks for that tip, I forgot about it. Let me ask you this, using your script, if the button is disabled once it’s pressed, how would I enable it again?

i just noticed that on ur transition the top thing closes over the content fine but the bottom one turns black then closes rather than just closing over the actual content.

Thanks Slayerment, I know about that, I’m in the process of correcting that and the button issue stated above. =)

so let’s say you have 3 buttons…
on the 1st one it’ll be :

on (press){
this.button1.enabled=false;
this.button2.enabled=true;
this.button3.enabled=true;
}

on the 2nd button :

on (press){
this.button2.enabled=false;
this.button1.enabled=true;
this.button3.enabled=true;
}

etc.etc… blahblah… you get the point. =)

and also… another suggestion… when you rollOver the menu buttons… that white rectangular thing that fades out… I think you can do without. Maybe… just have the text change color?..
or better yet… make it glow… that might be better…

Thanks enyceexgloboi, originaly the buttons did glow, but it was very graphic intensive so I switched to the rectangles, but I’ll see what I can do, thanks again for the input. =)

hmz… em… the only thing i can say is… :A+:

usability:

• definitly should add “scroller” buttons for your artwork. The “thumbnails” could be less general and give a little info on what you’re about to click on.
• when you click on a different music track, the play/pause buttons desapear while it’s loading…

design: I love the 3d/PS backgrounds in the top window. Very nice! But the somewhat bulky metal UI get in the way (of my personal own taste ). I feel it could be done better, especially after looking at those backgrounds. Maybe you could use C4D to build the UI? Even the reflection on the music player buttons is not very well done… Just my personal opinion again…
