I mentioned this a few times in the past, but I would like to add comments to the tutorials themselves. This will allow for discussions around that tutorial to be on the page itself. The forums will be for the more general purpose questions - which is mostly what they are right now. The amount of commentary I see from threads related to a tutorial are very small. By enabling the comments, I think it may allow more people who don’t want to bother registering for the forum to comment. Plus, it just adds one more way where people can connect with everyone else in an easy and quick way.
Unless there is some major technical difficulty, I will be using the disqus comment system. It is what my really outdated About Me profile uses. I looked into Facebook’s comment system, but it doesn’t look quite as nice. I also think many people may not want to have their Facebook account / real name listed on comments on a 3rd party site.
Do you all have any concerns with this whole proposal to add comments? I think it will be a good thing :rambo:
