I just got an Epson 1800 and started getting a wierd problem.
BACKGROUND:
I have a Dell XPS 600 that fried the motherboard… after finally getting it repaired, and a new processor (under warranty by 9days lol) I still have some issues. First of all my surround sound Soundcard by Creative X-Fi is messed up and now I only get audio in the right channel (double checked with headphones and its the card not the speakers).
THE PROBLEM:
Since the repair I get a not responding on shutdown from the Epson monitoring program. On next boot-up when I try to print I get COMMUNICATION ERROR. The only solution I have found is that I have to end spoolsv.exe turn off the printer, refresh the sys tray, turn printer back on and restart spoolsv.exe from the system32 folder.
After that I works… there has to be an easier way.
Is there a way to fix whatever happened?
