Pop music like Westlife really sucks. But other bands are OK. Some music I just zone out.
Personally, I prefer groups where the members can actually play their own instruments and write their own songs, rather than wannabes who just stand there singing covers.
I think I have seen one too many reality TV shows about this now. 
I pretty much dislike all pop music… (certainly not because it’s popular to do so… I’ve always disliked the stuff)… but at least I’m with Kit on this. I’ll be forgiving if they have musical talent. I may not listen to em… but I wont ***** either. I really really don’t like pop “stars” who can’t play a lick though… that’s just sad. That money could go to much better ends.
fakepilot is a great site though… I forgot that this thread was about that.

I agree. Music altogether will lose all sense of talent if this continues. Pop music will never be orginal again. Too bad for Michael Jackson…

sorry mlk… I listen to folk music, clasic rock, and some punk or metal on occation. It’s not a matter of who produces it… I just don’t enjoy either the themes or the sound of pop music. Does nothing for me.

Don’t tell me you haven’t seen other forums that have censored their words as well.
And as for those other types of pop music, i’ve never heard of them as they may be largely popular in european countries. This country is too busy trying to make pop stars and playing american pop song to be involved with other forms of pop music.
