There’s these Jewish Olympics called Maccabiah Games, and they have them every 4 years in Israel and they invite jews from all across the world to come and compete. I practice karate, and in my class there are a number of jews. They all went, and I was supposed to go with them, but my parents didn’t let me.
Then today I turn on the news and hear that terrorists blew up a bomb in the city where the people from my class are in {Netanya}. There were 2 deaths, and I don’t think that they were injured or killed, but it’s still a scary thought. What if they had gone for a walk into that area at the same time it exploded?
I just feel so scared, like why do those palestinians have to do these things?
Now my mom is telling me, “I knew something would happen, and I’m glad I didn’t let you go.”
