I’ve hit a dilema, I’m looking into buying a camera, but I’m not sure which way to go. I was originally planning on buying a digital camera, but then I remembered, with the same money, if I buy a film SLR camera, I can still get the shots on CD, plus the quality will be much better…so now I’m not sure which way to go. My budget is $450 CDN, which is low, but I’m only a beginner I guess you can say. I mainly plan on using the camera to take photos for my photoshop experiments, using it for websites and taking casual shots to send to friends over the net and taking landscape shots.
With the digital camera, it will be very useful for what I plan on doing with the camera, but I also want to experiment with the whole art of photography. If I can get some free time, I plan on taking a few photography courses at my university. But the digital cameras can save my on costs to the photos on CD and film. The film cameras will provide me with better quality and will give me better equipment if I ever do take those classes.

I’m right now leaning towards the Olympus D-580 if I ahd to choose a digital camera

I’m undecided between the Nikon F-65 and the Canon Rebel 2000 if I had to choose film.
Whatever I choose, I plan on keeping it for a while, so what to do? any advice?
