Ok, so I remember the thread that was started about this movie. Well I just got the movie in the mail on thursday and got to see it for the first time in English without subtitles on a HDTV (48inch) and let me just say that it was by far one of the most stunning displays of CG that I’ve ever seen.
The music was outstanding and was right along with the game.
The story even though it wasn’t all that great, did have some great parts, especially when Sepiroth comes back for a few minutes.
Overall I give the movie a 9/10 because I loved the game, and the movie was just a good excuse to see a great story continued with some of the most memorable characters. In short, if you haven’t seen Advent Children, and you were a fan of FFVII then by all means go get it! You will not be dissapointed! Especially now that it is in English and you don’t have to pay half of your attention to subtitles.
