I am searching for an answer and would be greatful for any help. I created a flash MX movie and inserted the .swf into dreamweaver MX. Now I want to add layers OVER the .swf and for some reason it keeps adding under, never over. Can you add layers over a .swf. Does anyone know?

captnbly, you can’t afaik. I tried a while back and tested many different ways of doing it, but it always puts itself on top for some reason.
True: you can’t add HTML code over a Flash movie. There is a techNote on Macromedia’s site about this very thing. Adjusting the z-index, div, whatever won’t help because the Flash movie is actually drawn on top of the browser, not within the HTML.
So creating layers in DW will still appear underneath your movie.
