I dont know about everyone else but for some reason i dont like his username and signature. It’s great that he is being specific and helping with the video side of flash but most often his posts are refering back to his site and i kinda have a feeling like he is promoting his business or software in a way.
I dont know, i mean i really like that fact that he is informed with video with flash but dont you think he should PM a mod or something to “advertise” his site/services like the link above.
What he is doing is a bit annoying. I moved his post to Random and edited his footer with the footer violation one. He had like 6 lines of text with his footer
I think he helps out a bit. I just browsed through several of his posts, and he seems to know his stuff. If he gets too pushy with his link, you or I can send him a friendly PM telling him not to advertise his site too much
Well, I had a look at this site he’s linking to, and it does have nice infos about FLV, I didn’t see anything commercial there (appart from the Google adds…), and he’s right in the fact there’s never much Q&A about FLV or Flash and video in general here…
If he was selling something, ok, but as it stands, he’s looking more like someone trying to provide an additional ressource to people interested in the subject.?
yeah true… as long as he keeps cool with posting his link. or making announcments about his site, if he gets pushy then like kirupa said a friendly PM will help.
