I have a jpeg of an old map that I’m using for a background in a flash movie. I’d like to juice it up a bit with some kind of random lightly billowing fog or mist scrolling from left to right. I’ve searched the forums and tutorials here since yesterday and I’ve found some nice smoke tutes but nothing dealing with a random left to right scroller.
Would I be best off using movieclips of some light cloud patterns in various degrees of transparency or is there some open source actionscript out there that will apply this effect for me?
