Same here. Although I havent actually installed sp2 yet. It scares me for some reason.
Same here, I’m not installing it. SP1 works fine for now. As long as it’s not broken, I’m not touching it.

Got my yesterday, Ill be reformatting before I install it.
Do people suggest that before installing SP2 - that you do a complete reformat of the harddrive and start fresh by installing SP1 then SP2 and other patches etc??
I think thats what I will prob do cos it would be good if it were all fresh…
I dont think it will make much of a difference doing a complete format first. also, I dont think you have to install sp1 before sp2.

I have upgraded here at work through thier windows update and have had great success. I wouldn’t be too scared fella’s.

I tried twice to get the old version with the SP1 fixes on it a few months ago. Both cases they never came

Slipstream is the art of making your own Windows XP CD with custom options which install during the OS installation so he basically installs WindowsXP and SP2 at the same time, you can also include other programs like winrar, office and any other program you want as long as it fits on a CD or DVD 
Exactly! It’s kinda like ghosting your computer, that way, I have most if not all of my software installed when I install windows.
Hey guys, how do you include the other programs… like if i wanted to have office and winrar and my macromedia and adobe suite’s install when I installed windows?
