I was in my neighborhood Fry’s today (the one on the 15 off the Aero drive exit, right by the 8) and I was informed that they had the Core 2 Duo family in stock but that they were unable to sell them - their cash registers actually would reject the purchase.
However, on Monday (the 7th) they will be available for sale (or so they say). The salesman I was talking to said he tried to sell himself an E6400 (they have a stack of boxes in the back) but the computer wouldn’t let him. :-/
Anyhow. I’m driving down before work on Monday to be there when they open (8 am). :thumb:
