A site i worked on with my freind. No actual content, just a template for now. RATE IT! I made the flash toolbar and put everything together, my freind was the creative force. We were to lazy the fix the problem with the backround looking all funky at high resolutions. so live with it. Make the window smaller if you have to. Read the bio’s for a laugh, they are completly fabricated.

  1. there is a white space toward the right(which you prob know)

We used, like Microsoft Sans, something everyone has i’m sure.

I’ve seen many pattern backgrounds and I really like yours. Did you create the pattern yourself? Good work bro!

You need to use another sans font in your content area.

And other than your menu being tiny the site looks nice.

maybe if the background was lighter and reduce the patterns alpha a bit (70% perhaps) the background would be great

the menu is far too small and the you need a new font but gotta say, other than the problems highlighted, it looks good so far :thumb:

yea site looks cool, but the font for the content is uhmmm…ugly, just use arial or something and make the header text actually smaller the the fontsize you used in the logo/company name, the navigation is cool, but a bit small and you def need to code this whole site in css!

WRONG! If you’re on a PC yea everyone has it… however it isn’t a MAC font, so you get a choppy ugly font.

It all seems pretty decent. The nav is pretty good, aside from the font doesn’t work… cause I’m on a MAC. And I also noticed that it loads a diff jpg or table or something cause of the new header titles… maybe change that to some kind of JS or something so you’re not loading more than you have to.

Drop shadow is way to dark and ugly doesn’t really look smooth at all.

BG is pretty good, layout is decent. Good start I’ll wait to see what it looks like completed.

If I was to rate it I’d give it a 4/10. I say that because it’s a pretty average design, the fonts I don’t think flow well w/ the design… as they are massive. Color usage is ok. And for the Green Design Company using a default font like that as the logo took a lot of points off ;). Not much design incorporated yet… for a design company that is. This site looks more like a Blog site than a design site. All IMO though.
