Iāve been doing some research on google, and from what Iāve discovered, they store a LOT of information. A lot of personal information. Iāve been using google since the very beginning, and have always been fully supportive of it until now. They store everything, and have a service for just about every aspect of your life - pictures, personal information, search logs, email. My biggest concern is my email. Googleās solution to your email is never to delete anything, just let it sit in your inbox. That frightens me.
Iāve just heard recently that google is now partnering with the government, to create āuser profilesā for everyone. Every search you make adds to your user profile.
So Iām looking for alternatives, private, secure alternatives to everything Iāve ever used google for.
To start off, can anyone suggest any free email clients, that can guarantee a little bit of privacy?
Iām also thinking about starting an anti-google, alternative-to-everything site. Sound like a decent idea?
