Me and my roomates got back from a bachelor party weekend in vegas sunday night to find all of our game systems, (Xbox, Gamecube, PS2) all the games to go with them, and all of our dvd’s stolen. I was informed by my gf of this on saturday when she stopped to check on the house. The cops left fingerprint dust all over the house, what a mess! We think it was some scumbag we know (not a friend mind you) who knew we would all be gone for the weekend. I would have loved to been there when they broke in so I could beat the living ****e out of em! This is such a disturbing situation. I guess it could have been alot worse. The thief or thieve’s could’ve taken our vehichles, atv’s, jewerly, guitars, my powermac, so I guess we kinda lucked out. I just wanted to vent a bit, I miss my Madden 05’, and I hope they find this scumbag. Whoever it may be.
Sorry to hear about that man.
That’s strange that the theives didn’t take your jewlery or computer…seeing as how those are relatively expensive, easy to carry items. Makes me think that they weren’t professional theives…may have even been somebody that you “know” as you suggested.

Dayum, that sucks.
I JUST got back from the store buying a laptop lock when I read this :beam:
I hope it turns out (somehow) who did it man.
ouch… that sux man…
wow thats horrible, i would be fuming if someone came in my place and stole my laptop and desktop. All my webdesign stuff would be gone!

I would not doubt this for a moment. Growing up in the Methanphetamine capital of the US, i have seen countless situations where thieves have acted on ‘inside info’ such as striking when so-called ‘friends’ are out of town… Seems like you have a good understanding of who did it… I would report them to the authorities, or, take matters into your own hands, so to speak.
Confront the person, but don’t accuse them. Just talk to them, without leveling accusations, and gauge their mannerisms… If the guy is nervous, figity, or gets defensive, i would say that those are signs of guilt…
Yeah, we informed the cops about him.(He’s an un-employed junkhead who just had a kid, so he’s always hard up for cash) I just found out that prints they got off of the window don’t match his. That still doesn’t count him out though. It also could be some young punks around the neighborhood, cuz another house on our street got broke into about a month ago. All that was stolen there was a knife and a painting. It’s either gotta be that guy we know, or some juves. Ugghhh! I’d love to know. We were joking about parking all of our cars somewhere else one night, and just waiting in the house with all the lights out. Maybe they’ll get greedy and try to stop back. After seeing all the potential in the house.
Cops also notified game exchange places in the area to be on the look out for returns.
