well, I have various assorted questions…
- This is what I want to know the most… Well, in animations, (Like a — moving across the screen), how can I get arms to rotate and stay in one point without having the rest dissapear?
Anyway, yeah, I have tried free rotation… Heres what I have tried
try 1. Created starting picture (stickman for testing)…, I had two graphics, one the body, and the other the arm. (Thats for testing), and a backround.
Pressed f6, inserted keyframe, on that keyframe (Frame 10), I created my second picture, by activating free rotation, grabbing the lock point (little white circle) to the end where the arm was, and rotating it.
I selected a random frame somewhere in the middle, and turned it into motion.
The body completely dissapeared taking the backround with it, leaving the arm. The arm worked great, rotated perfectly with the locked area, but everything else dissapeared.
Try 2.
Did not turn the body and arm to graphics:
The animation did this: 0 = body, / and \ = arm animated.
The first nine frames did absolutely nothing but sat there like 0,
and on frame ten, it jumped to 0/ like a photoshop animation.
Try 3.
Used shape instead of motion, and the animation did some REALLY wierd thing.
Try 4.
Drunk lots of beer, and then all there was was two arms, and two moniters.
wait, forget try 4.
Question 2.
Err, I don’t know how to use Actionscript… Any tutorials?
If you think a total noob to flash or something, you are correct =-)
Can anyone help me?
