I know the title sucks!
My idea for this video is a matrix of flying squares with fluctuating alpha in flight, that “hit” objects under it. Thus revealing the objects underneath as a blurry version of the final objects.
The objects then, while “falling”, gets it’s blur reduced up until the final appearances with no blur. The objects would then “bounce” off the floor as a masks for a background movie underneath them.
Then everything but the objects would go bright and reveal the nice and unintrusive background movie.
The buttons would roll up, or some other fancy shmancy effect, maybe an infinite menu that comes up from “nothing” spinning really fast and slows down on getting to it’s final resting place.
My main problem is the matrix hitting things. Most of the other stuff I already know how to do it, or have a tutorial ready… That flying matrix hitting objects is what I have yet to find a way to do.
Is it all done by hand and with getting the times just right?
or is there some actionscript that is better suited for this?
btw! the objects would be half a dozen words…
The other problem is the bright shine, like a flare of light. I hope i’m saying that correctly! I got nothing on that. Read about it once… Never again…
