Hi! I really apreceate this forum. Have looked for a forum like this a long time.
I’m a boy from Norway, and i have Flash as a hobby.
Most of my work is on my page: http://grooviemovie.fatalt.net
This is a page i made for a few days ago. It is many missing parts yet, and the design are a bit “beta”. But have a look! Specially if you’re from norway! :beam:
I mostly make movies.

NB! The page is mostly written i Norwegian…

If there are any tips you would like to give me I would be very happy to get som things i maybe could do better. I am not so skilled in pagemaking in Flash as i am in moviemaking.

well on first look…hahah that **** scared me :slight_smile: ok u need a new preloader for ur homepage…the flash is way to big even do I’m on 1024 x 768 resolution…I say keep the size 780 x 580…out of everything on the site I like the logo and the buttons…if I were u I would take those two elements and give it a second try on homepage :slight_smile:

I only had a quick look coz I couldn’t work out how to turn the frog dude off. You might want to add a kill switch feature for repeat visitors.

As mentioned b4, you should build a pre-loader so that people know how much of the movie is loaded. One with a % should work fine.

I have a FAST connection and it still took a while. The first thing I would do is optimize your images. The easiest way is to just do it within Flash using the library.

Is the pre-loader loading the entire site? If so, it might be a better idea to load only the home page then use the loadmovie command to load the sections that people click. This way you reduce DL times and people only DL what they want to see.

Like I said, I haven’t see it all so that’s all I can comment on for now.
