Vector graphics let you work with lines and forms instead of a map of pixels, giving you amazing versatility and scalability.
Your drawings look good at any size and they weight much less than raster images.
I mainly start with a huge idea that I sketch on paper. Then I acquire it with my scanner and I begin tracing out the main outlines of the figure using only and exclusively Macromedia Flash.
After doind that, I start using the linear and radial gradients of Flash to give a first idea of 3dimensionality, that I complete adding more details with different shades and particulars like hair, eyelashes, eyebrows etc.
The final result is formed by a number of layers which changes according to the complexity of the illustration.
awww! i love vector art now!
go to the 2nd to last one
pure sweetness.
that’s all i’ve got to say…
thats awsome…
wow!! that’s unpossible!
thats really sweet - i think its both a mixture of illustrator/freehand drawing and flash trace bitmap - if you look at some of the detail it some of the areas of high detail look just like the shapes formed when you trace a bitmap in flash…
however - it look daaaaaaammn good - and sexy too!

word!
i’m pretty new at flash, but i’m familiar with illustrator and the gradient mesh too. however, i’m having a bit of difficulty figuring out if there’s a similar tool in flash…
looking at juni’s work i’m assuming there must be… does anybody have any idea how to create a gradient mesh type look in flash?
That was posted by me some months ago, but it is still awesome…
yeah, I remember it c!ryx, don’t fret
Still awesome work tho…
It’s all Illustrator… Gradient meshes (as mentioned), that kind of thing. Very good.
I like zoom2 on cipria quite a lot,
how do i get the drool off my screen now…?
LOL, yup, remember that one, nice…
it’s actually all flash, which is why it’s so amazing.

i guess i found my answer though… i have no idea how to achieve such realistic gradients using only the linear and radial gradient fills… wow.
