I know the title may be confusing. But I’ve seen this effect used several times, and it would work really well for a project I’m working on.
I’m trying to achieve a particular type of navigation.
Basically, my Flash movie will consist of a huge “canvas” or space.
Each individual section will be a different part of the canvas.
When you click a navigation button to get to a section, the user’s view smoothly “slides” or shifts towards that assigned part of the canvas.
Example: http://www.dhky.com/chingandco/

[*]In the above example, when you click a link, it “slides” to the section. Probably launching an external SWF for each section?

I must confess that I am relatively a beginner to ActionScript 2, yet ActionScript 3 is probably what I should be focusing on. If anyone can suggest any resources to learn this stuff, I would really appreciate it. Should I just check out some books on ActionScripting?
