I dontt have a clue how to use flashmx2004. I’ve tried playing around w/ it and it seems so complex. I was wondering how everyone started out with it? Like what did you learn to do first? Did you use any e-books or stuff?
well im listening to “APDesign”… im going to learn to use flash mx… going to try out all the tutorials here… the thing i dont like about tutorials is that they give you the action script and hte interface… so you arent really doing it yourself
yep but working backwards is a good way to learn. Then you come up with an idea get your blank piece of paper and work forwards. The ideas bit is the hard bit
yea i agree that ideas are hard… making graphics are also hard…

well, some of that stuff is pretty hard in mx and stuff because there aren’t really built in blurs and stuff (well there are in mx 2004, but they’re not that good…)
the tutorials on this site are good because they explain the code (after you do the project, it goes through line by line explaining what you did and why)
