I have problem publishing an MX movie

I have created a Flash MX movie which i want to burn into a cd to run as an .exe file but at the moment the swfs. attached to the movie do not appear. I have use actionscript to load external movies into the movie. When I press the button for the external movie to load nothing loads. Could you please help me on that. I am not an expert on Flash therefore I might be doing someting wrong.

are all the external movies on the cd as well?

They all have to be in the same directory (same folder)
