The Oregon lawn ornament thief has finally been apprehended–and cuddly garden gnomes from Portland to Beaverton are breathing a sigh of relief. Kimberley Rae Baker-Bundy, 49, was named this month in a 25-count misdemeanor theft complaint charging her with boosting wagon wheels, wind chimes, doormats, and plastic deer. Baker-Bundy’s alleged crime spree dates back to 2000 and covers two counties, according to investigators. She recently landed in the Washington County Sheriff’s lockup (where the below mug shot was taken) after failing to show for a court date. Baker-Bundy was nabbed after neighbors spotted her scooting across their lawn, her arms full with backyard booty.

After a hard night of drinking I woke up with two of 'em in my bed with me. Apparently my buddies snagged them off of front lawns on our drunken walk home from the bar and then posed them in erotic positions on top of me when I was passed out. They also stole like 7 ‘For Sale’ signs and put them on my front lawn. I would’ve killed them if I hadn’t been laughing so hard when I saw the pics.

It’s all about the java juice my man. Why else is there a Starbucks on every corner? The Willamette Week (independent newspaper of Portland) did a little study not too long ago and discovered that the farthest you could be from a Starbucks within city limits was 5.32 miles. Of course Starbucks immediately targeted the area . . . :sigh:
