I'm Gonna Need Some Help With This: Perfect Glow+blur+fade Effect

HI EVERYONE,

I’LL KEEP IS SHORT AND SWEET…
I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A TEXT EFFECT FOR MY SITE. I’VE COMPLETED IT, BUT IT JUST DOSN’T LOOK RIGHT. SO I CAME HERE TO LOOK AT SOME SITES IN THE SITE CHECK AND FOUND A SITE THAT HAS THE SAME EFFECT I WAS TRYING TO MAKE-

HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT WITH THE WHITE LETTERS??!! I’VE BEEN TRYING FOR WEEKS AND HIS IS STILL WAY BETTER THAN MINE.

well, the blur is done in photoshop: filter blur gaussian prolly…
then the fading in is a combination of fading the blurred text in and simultaneously applying mask which ‘opens’ form one side to the other on the blurred text, then just fading the blurred out and the normal text in… that would be my guess.

make a blur picture in ps

post it a layer lower then the txt.

Then smiple make the -from right to left animation- with mask.

Then you let the blured texture fade out with alpha
and samoltaneusly let the normal tekst fade in with alpha.

That’s easy write?
