Hey guys. Nice to meet you all. I just stumbled on this forum searching for flash tutorials and stuff like that and I must say, it is by far the most useful flash site I’ve seen yet. Seems like you have a nice, active community here. Other places explain Flash, but none have really explained the stuff I really want to know like making things shine in flash, falling snow, fading animations on mouseovers, etc. Basically, I just got Flash yesterday, but have been using Adobe Photoshop for a while I guess. I’m just here to improve my skills because only the hottest websites are made in Flash haha. I’ve been reading tutorials off other sites on the basics I guess on making a Flash layout. Now that I know that, I can make those sites even better and improve my understanding of Flash. I designed my first web layout and coded it for the first time just a few days ago, and it was pretty fun. I’m now pursuing flash for even more interactive websites.
A little about myself. My name is Alex. Lacrosse is by far my favorite sport haha, and I do live on East Coast, United States. Virginia. I’m 14 years old, and when I get older, I’d like to do something with computers. Not really sure yet, but something. Something pretty interesting was that my uncle was the lead programmer of Guitar Hero I. Haha. I’m taking programming next year as well, but I doubt I’d learn anything since computer classes in high school are pretty much fool around, laid back classes. Anyway, hope to see some of you around.
