I have a problem saving image for flash. No matter what format I save image in Photoshop 6.0 to import to Flash MX, the image is saggy. It doesn’t look smooth like I see in Photoshop. Can anyone show me a trick?
Thanks,
nodo

in photoshop make sure your image is RGB. when ur done editing it go to file-save for web. save @ 100% quality, and save as a jpeg. go to flash cntr+r to import, and you’ll be fine
Depending on how your image looks like, the best quality I prefer to use is PNG.
Actually I have had the exact problem, see what flash does is try to use its compression on the image, and it adds smoothness to compensate. Well if you goto your library, and find the jpg in there right click on it, and then goto properties. I then uncheck “Allow smoothing” then I uncheck “Use imported JPEG Date”, and then I set it to 100 for the best quality. Then all the jaggys u see should go away. Just a lil tip most done kno
Thanks guys.
Another thing I would like to suggest is to export jpeg files using the FIREWORKS “export to web” tool. I made some experiments and the final result is usually 2/3 the photoshop exported jpeg file size.
U should try it.
Macromedia rules!
cool beans felipe will try
