I’m working on a flash project in which I use a lot of images imported from photoshop. These images have been set to use jpg compression (lossy quality) and the quality is set to 90 still a lot of color intensity is lost when comparing the original image to the image in the compiled flash file. Even setting the flash compression quality to 100 doesn’t make the colors any better. You might say that this is due to the fact I use compression in flash but when I compress that same image to jpg with photoshop the quality is a lot better (especially the colors) and the size is reduced more than in flash.
Is there a way to improve the image compression that flash uses?
