I don’t know if any of you noticed, but I put up an IRC channel. Here are the details:

Now I need your opinion. Is this a good idea? You’d rather post than chat? Whatever? Let me know so I can either keep it up or take it down.

I like the channel. Let’s me say whatever without feeling like i’ve got to add a lot to it or feel i’m spamming.

:-\ there’s no full irc address given??? It just says DALnet sumthing there! What’s the full address cuz I don’t use the program that can be downloaded from that link!

The DAL net IRC servers that you would use are… irc.eu.dal.net Connect to that server, and join #kirupaforum

and i have my own script that I use for chatrooms so why should I download another one…

and btw… that irc address wasn’t workin so I downloaded the one from there and it still ain’t working… note is was the same prog I was using before!

I’m using IRCle (MAC client) and I need a better server address as well…

shouldn’t matter which IRC app you use but the right server address is nec. if it is not in the “servers” default list

hm…syko. you’re not the first to have this problem. Have you tried connecting to another DALnet server?

Make sure you have a local identd server running… DAL net requires one…
