Is flash 8 good enough or sorenson squeeze?

Currently I import my video into Flash 8 pro - which creates the FLV file - version 7 not 8 since most people I don’t think have flash 8 player installled … or do they ? anyways, Once That is done I use the media component and publish the player which plays the flv online. Would sorenson give me better quality video ? would I compress in sorenson then in flash ?
