I am working on my first Flash site and using Flash MX 2004 which came with Studio MX 2004. In addition to several MP3 files, there are a couple of videos that I will incorporate that need to play back at 30 fps in a small window (190 pix x 142.5 appx) over a bitmap graphic and with very high quality audio. I have experimented with embedding the video using the built-in Spark Codec with fair results. I have a lot of experience making Sor 3 QT movies (2 pass VBR stuff) and Windows Media. My question is this - to improve the quality of the embedded video, should I upgrade to Studio 8 (about $500) or purchase Sorenson Squeeze 4.0 for Flash MX ($119)? As I am fairly far into learning (basic) Flash MX 2004 via the Flash Bible, I prefer not to do the upgrade yet (not to mention the cost). I have a short turnaround on this project. Please advise./BC:!:
