Is there a way that you can break apart a movie into individual pictures that are in a sequence? I’m trying to help a friend make a vectorish snowboarding video clip.

do you mean removing every (Nth) frame from a video to get a flickered effect as in an old time movie ?
I’d believe that you’d have to trim that up in a video editor first and then bring the video into flash
if it is a video clip you could import it in2 premiere and then export the frames as a series of bitmaps…
you can then import the bitmaps in to flash and trace them and then break apart the traced image to get rid of the bits you dont want…
alternatively, draw the imported frames one by one and this wil give you a smaller file size, but it would be more time consuming…
I can’t do anything with premiere. I’m trying to bring the frames the video intro flash, break it apart into bitmap images, and then change the images by changing the levels with a trace bit map so that they look like vector images. Hopefully this is understandable.
