It's beeeeeutiful out

it is in degrees… 80-83 degrees Farenheit (the original temp scale).

We use F scale for the same reason we use feet and yards/miles… because we have used this system for hundreds of years, and see no reason to change, just because Europe decides to be different.

Just do the same thing we do, when you guys give us celcius… convert it.

Rev

A globe rev!!! :beam:

Is it gonna change each week?

  • Soul :s:

ok here’s the deal  I dont know how to convert it, so just tell me this:

0 celsius = ??? F

15 celsius = ??? F

30 celsius = ??? F

http://www.scorpiosite69.freeserve.co.uk/temperature.htm

Rev

and soul:

maybe more often…

0 celsius = 100 F
15 celsius = 250 F
30 celsius = 500 F

  • Soul :s:

soul you are sooooooo far off!

Rev

haha, thanks Rev, good link.

…ah and of course thanks Soul hehe

C = (5 / 9) * (F - 32)

F = ((9 / 5) * C) + 32;

haha just thought I’d see if he fell for it :beam:

I’m cunning huh? :beam:

  • Soul :s:

No problemo Lynxyio :beam:

i guess canadians are different too… cause … doesnt it seem that americans do everything complicated? while the rest of the world uses the same system?

if im wrong, someone kick me.

kick

Dunno if you’re wrong, but couldn’t resist your offer! :beam:

  • Soul :s:

Hey, we can’t help it if everyone else changes their systems…

So you guys are the weird ones…

Just like Netscape invented JavaScript, IE “adapted” it…

Rev

yeah, same here. it hasn’t been this nice in a couple weeks. just 24 hours ago it was like cloudy, windy, raining, generally ****ty, and cold. now it’s beautiful.

Americans don’t use metric and they drive on the right side of the road because in the early days of the independence, Americans sought to differentiate themselves as much as they could from the British.
So if they do things ***-backwards, it’s because they hate you… hehe.

Hey, we drive on the right side of the road, but we use metric… actually I dunno what I wanted to say…

whimpers

lavaboy:

was Britain using the metric system then? I thought it came into use in the 20th Century…

Rev

they used metric for other things… I think. Let me research this, I’ll get back to you.

cool, I was too lazy to check it out…
