Unlike what you’d expect.
Portugal in winter time is unbelievably cold.
Our weather is just like great britain, only not quite as moist.
Problem being that my city has an estimate of 37.4 to 50 Fahrenheit, or 3º to 10ºC. If you’ve been to Great Britain it’s the same sort of weather.
and today it’s windy to top it all off.
Most our houses have got no central heating. That is just starting to creep up in a few of our newest houses.
You’d think some rain; or perhaps something as rare as snow would show it’s ugly face, but no. We just get frosty cars in the morning.
The only reason this italian friend of ours didn’t hug the salamander (it’s like and hoven, only used for heating purposes) was because it might damage his clothing or stain them. He was visiting Portugal a few years back, he visited our house and looked at a few vintage photos we had while practicly sitting on the salamander.
