i’m no law expert but i’ve been following this trial. Bascially he got off for the actual killing (manslaughter, etc).
he was found guilty on a 5-8 which was tampering with evidence and stuff like that.
Max sentence you ask?
364 days in a county jail. i mean come on, someone died here, and this is the verdict?
Also what’s killing me is the fact the victim’s family accepted 2 million dollars from jason Williams and never said a word during the whole trial.
it really makes me mad, i just picture myself as the family member watching this pathetic verdict.
