Very very nice. Can’t read Portuguese, but the Flash is fantastic. I’m not 100% sold on the pixellation that occurs when you’re zoomed in on something, but the effect once the selected asset is loaded is nice. Good work.

Very nice site you have there. One issue: resizing the browser. Is it really necessary?

Actually I don’t like it much at all. Usability wise, its the pits. I’m not sure if the pixelization was intentional, but it doesn’t look good to my eyes.

Regardless of the language it 's hard to use and once I choose a portfolio piece I almost feel stuck there.

I think the actionscript was very well executed, but from a business standpoint I can’t see this as being anything more then confusing to clients.

Please don’t resize my browser. Thank you.

Nice comment/review, dude! :thumb2:

Sorry man, but the resize thing just made me leave the site. I didn’t even open it. :asleep:

CriTiCeRz has a very good point. That’s exactly what I was going to say. I almost left when it resized my browser, but I decided to give it a chance. But then I went in and was a bit overwhelmed by the interface, and left (probably because I was still a bit annoyed from the browser resize).

My best bit of advice: Unless you want your Analytics reports to show high bounce rates all over the place, NEVER disrupt the user’s browser unless you prompt it before hand. If you need to be sure the window is at 100%, then provide a splash page with a link to open a pop-up window full screen (still not a good option, but better).

I like the interface, and found it very easy to use, I browsed your portfolio very easily, but I had no idea on how to fill out a contact form, or read something about you.

Hey,
Thanks for all comments.
I removed the browser resizing, that most of you guys, didn’t like.
The navigation or how you find the itens, can be a little hard because the language. In the next week the English version will be working.

@ajcates:
How I said before, the language difficult a little.
The contact instructions can be accessed here:
http://www.keal.com.br/v1/#/contato/ - Address, Telephone and Email.
We choose to not use a form and gives the user more freedom to send the email.

Thanks, and I’m waiting more comments!

It’s very nice. I like how smooth it runs on my old Powerbook G4, which means you’ve done a good job optimizing it. My only crit is when you click on a portfolio item, there are two very big black boxes in the lower left corner that cover part of the work. Can you make that invisible and only appear on rollover or can you move it below the work? There is some interesting work in there, but those two black boxes cover it. I think you intended it to be an information box, but the work looks so good, you shouldn’t cover it with anything.

well, i really liked it. the pixely-ness was fine as far as im concerned too

I actually didn’t realize that the portugese button was a button at first, and I was confused about how to pass the spash page.

The scrolling is too loose, and I don’t feel like I’m in control. Instead of an x you should have an up arrow to return to full view. It makes more sense. Instead of pixilation you should use a blur instead. Kudos on not breaking the back button or address navigation.

Why don’t you have a contact form and list your email, phone and email? This way they have the freedom of opening up there email client and writing you, or just filling out a form.

Digital hits the nail on the head as far as the critique … my personal opinion is that the site is nicely done - just not sure if it’s right for what it’s intended for …

My only major complaint is that I don’t think you need to have everything move as the cursor moves around the site … gave me a headache while trying to look at what I wanted to click on etc …
