I need help creating the lighting effect as shown here

That tutorial only shows how to create that effect on text (created in flash)… but I want to know how to do it on images that were created in another program such as Photoshop
I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to get this effect in my image… I want the light to move a long one of the tubes…
well what you should do is set up different mask for different tubes (eventually on different layers or depths), and then apply a moving mc on each mask…

basically what i did is play with shapes so they would look like the pipes underneath them and turned each into masks that applied on some tweens…
****s looks like my footer doesnt werk… stoopid server…
oh and btw im not sure you can create the masks precisely outside of flash… A good solution though would be to make a normal image and create a vector image with it in photoshop and export that to flash - which might then help you do the mask (so they fit closely to the borders of the pipe)
