LINKS using FlashButtons (Dreamweaver)

I have a doubt regarding the links.

I am using Flash Buttons on the left menu that will give link to
pages
on the target frame. The problem i have is… It was working well
when i
used absolute path for the HTML file to be displayed…

Now i wanted to change them to relative path so that i can upload. ITs giving me a problem… say my working folder is c:\mysite. If the
button & target HTML file names are button.swf & file.htm…
I have to give simply the file name (file.htm) as they both are in the
same folder right ?

but when i do this… it searches for c:\mysite\button.swf\file.htm

its strange that it searches UNDER button.swf… I never had this
problem before. Do u have any idea about what might be wrong with it ?

Thanking you
Senthil

When you start a new page in DW, you must save the page first, or else DW will put in the c:/myfiles path. Once you save the file, then use the WYSIWYG editor to find the paths… they will be relative by default…

hope this helps,

Rev

hey

I am saving the file in the beginning itself… that was a sample folder name i gave…

When i give Link in the properties pop up window that comes up when we click the flashbutton… it does not work if its relative… it gives the problem that i mentioned above…
