Want your opinion on the layout… regards to second video (sign video) The menu drops down then pops back up again.
Also any opinions on improving style.

Does not follow a grid, so it feel very unorganized. The interface is very flat and reminds me of beOS or Windows 98. Also the video controls are not lined upped and look as if they were stretched.
Grey boxes? C’mon, you can do better than that! 
right I’ll check minor allignment,
I can’t do much else apart from maybe change the size of the item buttons so it has a more regular feel
note this is just for deaf people:P in normal mode it looks more grid like and even.

Well, if I approach this as a wireframe sample, then you’re on the right track.
Have a look at a few sites like cssmania.com and csselite.com to get some ideas regarding styling. If design’s not your cup of tea, there are still some great resources that you can use to improve usability. For example, have a look at www.famfamfam.com and check out the free icons. As well, if you want a spicy font, check out these free fonts: http://www2.wind.ne.jp/maniackers/designfont.html
