it’s called the Macromedia University. It looks amazing. I was wondering if any of you have taken it, or know someone that has. I am thinking of asking my boss to sign me up as it is all online and I could do the lessons at anytime. This looks too good to be true.
If you click on the bottom link under “browse” on “Web Proffesional”, from what i can gather, you have access to all those classes for the 399 price tag. As I said before this looks almost too good to be true, I was wondering if you could let me know what you think of the whole thing. I am very curious.
looks nice tho … a fair bit cheaper than going to a tech school…
but methinks you wanna ask more from them, like;
does the for-credit/instructor led classes have any extra fees ?
and the required books… do they have to be purchased from them ?
and don’t forget that this is a subscription per year fee arrangement
…if self study ‘only’ (no instructor or credits) is what you want you could sign up with http://www.oreilly.com/ and for ±$15 u.s. per month you have a fantastic library - but no structured lessons …
I really don’t know anyone who knows firstHand any more about this
well I think it’s for sure that I am going to get a memebership here. It just seems so good - I mean all those lessons for everything you can imagine for that low price. It’s worth a shot especially if the boss will pay for it and to have all this information at your finger tips as well as message boards to talk with teachers and such - it seems like a win win situation. I will be sure to let everyone know how it turns out and if it’s worth it.
Thanks for the info from those of you who replied as well
I doubt you will get the same education you would at a school - plus I think a diploma from a tech school would look better than an online one from Macromedia.
