Hello everyone. I am currently in the process of creating a mech suit. It isn’t an actual mech. Essentially, it’s a suit of armor fashioned to be like a mech. The only exception is the legs. The way they are set up makes you stand higher. The mech suit’s height is estimated at around 10-12 feet. I will be using this thread to update my progress with pictures and occasionally (if my genius fails) a request for help! It will have the classic back-bending knee joint (hence the specialized legs). It will also have two different arms. The left will be a sort of cannon (flat and wide). And the right will be a standard gatling gun design. No part of the body will show whilst the suit is being worn. It will seem like a tiny little gnome’s mech. I’ll post pictures soon!
The torso is currently made out of cardboard:player: . I may recreate the torso and arm section in wood later on, but I may not. I’ll post pictures soon! I also decided on naming it austasti-con. It will chill with optimus prime and the gundam crew. Oh, and Big-O will be it’s BFF.

I took some picture of the mech torso. I have one shot of the view outwards and one of it on me. Keep in mind that it lacks a paint-job, and a final viewing window. I just cut that one out quickly so that I could see.
