Micromedia or macro$oft?

the day i stop using flash is the day microsoft buys macromedia. just imagine it: Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, Flash XP, Outlook, etc…shudders

Reality is a Conspiracy. =)

Ever since I’ve used a comp’, I’ve used Windoze.
Got quite unnerved when '98 still would bug all the time and bluescreen on me at the worst possible time, used Win2K & loved it, now using XP for a while and never had any problem?!
It ain’t free (X-cept if you steal it on the internet), but it is a huge r&d job, and it does improve over time, so…
Why is not not Ok for M$ to controll the OS market, who cares if the sources are not available (what’s the recepee for Coca-Cola…?), IE has long since many more features than NS or Opera or others, and so on…
I don’t care what the brand is, as long as it works, is the point I’m trying to make…but I love MM products, couldn’t stand to give up Dreamweaver (ah, that name already…) for Frontpage, so I’d rather MM stays MM, but $$$ rules the world…

I love ms and all, i dont have anything against it, but i just like that and MM to be sperate.

I dont htink this will happen, knock on wood but if it does, i am jumping off a building, not one that i would get killed, but one that is big enough to get my point threw.

power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely … or some such …

I certainly don’t love M$ but I think the only thing I hate about them is their totalitarian approach, once they own a thing there is little choice but to deal with them. Quality is not an incentive when you’re the only game in town.

I find it psychologically unnerving that they could buy their way into a position of total domination … they’re just not prone to allow the open source and free competition that could evolve without them in such a position.

They operate far too much on the motivation of what’s good for their bottom line rather than what is good for da Pipples.
