I have an .swf slideshow that loads within my .swf mainpage. The slideshow is a huge file, which isn’t much of a problem. My problem is that I placed a scene before the slideshow begins to allow for a transition of the slideshow onto the screen. Because the file is sooo big, the transition looks choppy and horrible. I was thinking I could make a preloader, but I don’t want to load the whole show, just the first scene where the transition happens. Is it possible to preload a scene as opposed to a whole movie? Or should I try to make two separate .swf’s (one for the transition, and one for the show).
