This morning when I woke up my antivir failed to start, so i thought I’d do a win reinstall just in case. After reinstall, everything was messed up, the old C was on D now, the old D was E and E was C-where the new win got installed. The data on E dissappeared …i suspected that I assigned the E drive for win install by mistake…but i don’t remember doing so and 30GB of my HD are missing, it’s supposed to be 160GB and now it’s 131 and something.
I don’t know how i could get the data back or the missing hd space, i tried a fixmbr but with no luck…does anyone have any idea?
Edit: Nevermind, I found the problem, seems like windows doesn’t support hard-disks over 130GB by default and I had to run some utility from western digital. Thanks MS for losing 30BG of data.
