I know there are other fighting game fans here; anybody else playing it?
I think it is great myself; feels much closer to Mk2 then they have in a long time…
The heroes are a blast to play with and outside of the game being a little light in extra content, it is a really solid fighter IMO.
The violence/gore really didn’t take as big of a hit as I expected either. The fatalities are definately less “fatal” then in previous versions, but they are still very entertaining. Besides, there is such an excellent feel to the way the heroes punch each other that it makes up for the lack of gore. When you are pummeling the crap out of someone with Superman you don’t even notice that the game has been watered down.
This is historic for me also; this is the first time I’ve ever bought a cross-platform title for Ps3. When I was standing in the store getting ready to buy the 360 version, I started remembering how hard it was to play Sf2t using the MS control pad and I changed my mind at the last second. It feels wierd… =P
