Move everything to the left

I’m trying to move everything in a flash file to the left. If I select all the frames and move them to the left, it only moves the last frame to the left and the motion tweens get messed up. Any ideas anyone? Or, could I take out some of the left part of the movie somehow? It is basically just empty space that I want to remove.
