Mozilla Firefox

I must say very, cool. My first week using it, but it’s now my default browser.

I used to be a dye hard IE fan, but Firefox has a lot of cool features.

Do a lot of people use this?

Wow - I am giving it a try right now. I really like it  I just might make it my default browser!

Wierd. I downloaded firefox and tried to visit kirupa.com and it said that I didn’ t have flash installed.

Well that’s it for firefox and me.

Yes, it’s a separate installer. You need to get it before you can use Flash.

Best move on Mozilla’s part-- I think firefox is a serious contender to replace IE all together – that is, if i can find a way to remove IE from my system :puzzle:

^^ shame they can’t spell Mozila right :sure:

we use Mo on our linux machines at uni, but I’m pretty comfortable with IE atm…

if you need to close multiple browsers or just plain windows period all at once…

press and hold the “windows” button the keyboard, then while holding it press the letter “d.” That will minimize everything and take you straight to the desktop.

it is extrememly customizeable, you can group tabs together, bookmark a group of links together, color code the tabs (very helpful when you have a bunch of tabs open), customize the toolbar, customize the search from the nav bar…

It also allows you to use another email proggy other than Outlook. It seems that no matter how many times I tell IE that Outlook is not my default email prog, it still opens it as default…

It also allows you to customize the popup blocker which comes with it, to allow only popups from this site…

But what I really like, is the added functionality of the center button. With a click on a link, it opens a new tab, right under the tab I’m in, or closes that tab, if the tab itself is clicked. It still scrolls as normal, but adds a nice feature.

If you like the tabs on the bottom, it allows for that as well as the side, right or left…

In my opinion, it is the most customizable browser out there.
