www.simplistik.net has a preloader? umm, then something is wrong with the server. cuz all I get is a blank page after the splash. son.
yes there are other ways to check out mp3, but you will need 3rd party software, the only one that comes to my head at the moment is fruity loops, but Im sure there are tons of other 3rd party software programs that manipulate mp3’s. But that might not be a solid solution, since you wont want to be converting all these songs in the future for these guys. A better solution would be to make a work-around in your actionscript.
If you dont mind, could you post your current AS for how you are loading your mp3’s ?
Im assuming you are loading them dynamically of course ?
Do you have their mp’3 on your PC ? If so, would you mind d/l’ing my mp3 player. I would like to know if it does not work on that either. If so, i will need to make a work-around for various sound file types.

All there ever was, was a splash page… I don’t remember why I have enter button goin somewhere. As for my AS it’s loaded dynamically from a XML list.
those bumpin speaker are genious, pure genious, what an awesome idea and concept…that shows brain power, design knowledge and an overall 6th sense…makes me wanna cry…lol.
simplistik - it seems to me that its either your mp3’s or your AS. and since loading mp3’s dynamically from an xml is pretty straight forward, Im thinking its the mp3’s and there isnt really a work-around with them in AS. Would it be possible for you to email me a sample mp3 or link to one of their mp3’s so I could have a look at it? Id be curious as to why that is happening. Or you could just run a search on google for mp3 editors and find one that suits you best.
looks pretty good, the only thing i dont like are the button rollovers, well i dont like the shadow on the left side when you rollover. imo it should cover the complete height of the button.
