Hello, I just joined the forums 06/08/03 and just started flash two days ago. This seems like a very good place to learn about flash and using some of the tutorials located here I have thrown together my first .swf. I would like to know what you think of it as my first .swf. Thanks.

thats pretty cool, but I can’t really make out what that is that follows my mouse… is that a moon?

Thanks. And that is supposed to be the moon. Sort of like the gravitational pull the moon has on tides. Something like that. I wanted the water to wash up and carry the stuff off the beach. It sort of works. Not bad for my first try. :\ I forgot to add the size in the embed… sorry.

one idea tho… since its supposed to be the moon, and it would be night out, why don’t you make the background of the image a dark blue-ish color ?
There isn’t really a background. All there is besides the water is a beach like area… I would have put a nice starry background if one was needed though.
well its just that you can’t really tell its a moon, unless you look closely… Its awesome anyway…
I made the moon more noticable. A nice dark-blue background with a horizon. The moon goes behind the horizon aswell. That is better, isn’t it?
